Connect Qonto to Layerz

Why connect Qonto

Your Qonto account knows exactly what came in and what went out. What it does not do is tell you whether you are on plan, what next quarter looks like, or what happens if you hire two people. That means exporting transactions and rebuilding a spreadsheet, every month.

Layerz pulls your Qonto feed directly and lands it as an actuals branch on a model that persists. Cash in, spend by category, next to your forecast, on one structure you reuse.

What you get

  • Cash and spend, live against plan. Real transactions next to your budget, same structure.
  • Runway you can trust. Reforecast burn on real numbers, not a stale export.
  • Scenarios that hold. Branch a change without breaking the base.
  • Audit-ready Excel. Export any time. Never paywalled.

Honest limits

  • Layerz reads Qonto transactions. It does not move money or write back.
  • Custom category labels are a Qonto API constraint, not a Layerz one. Qonto's API only exposes its default categories, so custom labels do not come through the feed for any tool. You map at the default-category level, then refine inside Layerz if needed.
  • Layerz models your cash and P&L, it is not a bank or a bookkeeping tool.

How to connect Qonto

  1. 1

    Open Sources

In the Layerz web app, open your model and go to Sources.

  2. 2

    Add the Qonto connector

Add a connector and pick Qonto.

  3. 3

    Enter your credentials

Enter your credentials — slug: your Qonto organisation identifier; secret: your Qonto API client key. Generate the key from your Qonto account (Settings, API / integrations).

  4. 4

    Map your categories

Layerz pulls your transactions with their categories. Map categories to your model items (revenue, opex lines, and cash).

  5. 5

    Land the actuals branch

Land the result as an actuals branch. Sync whenever you want fresh figures.

Prefer to let Claude do it? With the MCP plugin, ask your agent to pull Qonto, map the categories and branch the actuals for you.

FAQ

Does connecting Qonto touch my account?
No. Layerz only reads your transaction feed. Nothing is moved or changed.
Do my custom Qonto labels come through?
No, and that is a Qonto API limitation, not a Layerz one. Qonto's API serves default categories only, for any tool. You map those, then refine in Layerz if needed.
Can Claude build my cash model from Qonto?
Yes. The Layerz MCP plugin lets Claude pull the feed, map it and reforecast from the chat.
Is it free?
Yes. Connecting a source and exporting Excel are on the free plan.
